We are pleased to introduce our latest piece of pain free technology “the wand.”

The Wand is a revolutionary new computer controlled local anesthesia application system that can provide painless and comfortable treatment especially in the sensitive areas such as the palate and front of the mouth. It allows the use of less anesthetic and at certain times can reduce the feeling of numbness in your face, tongue and lips.

What Causes Pain
In most cases, the needle is not what causes the sting while receiving an injection; instead the sting is caused from the pressure of the anesthetic entering the tissue of the gum.

Eliminating Pain in Dentistry
First we liberally apply anesthetic cream to the surface of the area to be treated. Then we apply the wand; it works by tapping the anesthetic into the gum gently, at a controlled rate, this helps reduce feeling in the immediate area and numbs the tissue before the anesthetic is tapped in to it. The result is a pain free anesthetic with superior numbing.

Distraction - Watch a Movie
Also for patients who like to be distracted while in the dental chair, we offer you the use of virtual reality headsets, which fit comfortably around your head and eyes you can then pick a movie of your choice and forget that you are even visiting the dentist.

Help to Relax
We also offer gas (Nitrous Oxide) to make your experience more comfortable and relaxing for those who have phobias of visiting the dentist.
